Tim's Journey

As many of you know, Revolution Wraps lives by a set of five core values. Each action we take is rooted in those values. And in some cases, these values also find their way into our personal lives. The Power of Positive is now needed in one of those personal lives.

Tim Jensen joined Revolution Wraps in July 2016 as Production Manager. He has been a great fit with the company, bringing years of production experience, along with his sarcastic sense of humor. As Production Manager, Tim literally touches every single job that comes through our doors.

Just before Christmas 2016, Tim noticed a lump in his arm pit. After many doctor visits and procedures, he was diagnosed with Follicular Lymphoma, Grade 3. He spent 6 months receiving chemotherapy and was pronounced to be in remission in June 2017.

Then in June 2018, he noticed another growth. The cancer had returned. The plan was to attack it with chemotherapy again. After one dose, Tim noticed that the lump was getting larger. A scan showed that the lump had grown rapidly. Chemo had fueled the lymphoma and the remaining three treatments were cancelled. A 10-day, twice a day, course of radiation treatments was recommended. The radiation was successful and he’s now back in remission.

His team of doctors also has recommended a Bone Marrow Transplant in order to keep the lymphoma at bay and Tim in remission. His siblings were tested, and his sister is a 50% match. Her cells will be harvested in early December. Tim will then be admitted to the hospital on December 7 to be given high doses of chemo and radiation to prep his body for transplant seven days later. He will spend a minimum of three weeks in the hospital recovering from the transplant. If all goes well, he will then spend 90-100 days at home with round-the-clock care to ensure a full recovery.

During this season of joy and peace, we ask that you keep positive thoughts for Tim, his children, fiancée and her daughter. The next four to five months are going to be tough, but we hope easier with good vibes being sent from our clients and friends.

Revolution Wraps is also setting up a fund to help Tim with his expenses. 100% of the funds will go to him.
