If you can fathom it, not everyone “bleeds Husker red.” This was never more apparent when we were asked to install a floor graphic in the new Huskers Authentic Team Store at Pinnacle Bank Arena.
After successfully installing vinyl stripes on a brick wall, and other graphics that had been provided by an out-of-state printer, the project manager on site asked if we could also take care of a 14’ Husker “N” logo that would cover a good share of the floor. “Of course,” was our answer. As soon as the Revolution Wraps installer and project coordinator unrolled the first segment of vinyl that our client provided, it was clear that it was a little more on the pink side of Husker red.
At noon, a quick call was placed to the owners and production team back at the office to determine if we could pull off the minor miracle of printing a new 196-square-foot graphic and installing it by the end of the day. Again, “of course,” was the answer.
So by 7:00 p.m. that Friday night, a bright red N adorned the polished concrete floor. Our attention to detail helped our client look good to his client. It also means we’re not yelling “Go Big Cerise!”
